Sultan Sulaiman Royal Mosque

Sultan Suleiman Royal Mosque is the Selangor Royal Mosque, and is located in Klang. The mosque was built in the early 1930s by the late Sultan Sir Alaedin Suleiman Shah and the High Commissioner of the British Federated Malay States, Sir Lawrence Nuuns Guillemard. The building was later inaugurated in 1932. The architecture of this mosque is a combination of Western and Neoclassical Art Deco influences. The Royal Staircase (royal step) from Istana Alam Shah and the royal tomb, where the late Sultan Salahuddin is buried, are the main attractions here.
